The Chairman of the Modern Group is His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He received his academic, military and airmanship education at a leading United States Air Force Academy in the Officers Training School. He spent 13 years with Royal Saudi Air Force as a fighter pilot and worked in various official capacities at the RSAF Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia prior to founding the Modern Group and the subsidiary companies since 2003.

Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamwah holds Electrical and Electronics Engineering degrees from Michigan State University, US, and attended several advanced management programs for executives in the US. He held senior management positions in the Saudi affiliate of Citibank for over twenty years, and as Senior Credit Officer, he was responsible for sanctioning project-based credit for several billion US dollars to major telecom companies, including the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Lucent Technologies, as well as large petrochemical and mining projects of world-class companies such as Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco), Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden).
